Hex Jam Nut Galvanized:
- Only 2/3 the thickness of a standard hex nut
- Usually tightened against the work surface with a finished or heavy nut tightened against the jam nut to keep it from loosening
- Galvanized plating provides excellent corrosion resistance
- Outdoor applications: docks, log home building, bridges, decks, etc.
- Coarse thread sizes: 1/2″-13 to 3/4″-10
