The Jet 570281 31/64″ JET-KUT GOLD M2 H.S.S. Jobber Drill Bit:
- Drills up to 4X faster and last up to 7X longer than regular drill bits
- Great for drilling steel, stainless, steel and alloy steels
- Self-centering 135º split points for consistent hole sizes and accurate hole placement without a center punch
- Bronze oxide (gold) ground flute finish reduce friction for cooler cutting and longer service life
- Special flute form enhances chip ejection while reducing drill retractions and improving coolant flow to the tip
- Made from high (M2) molybdenum steel for greater strength and rigidity, longer lasting cutting edges, improved hole tolerances for higher feed rates
- TORQUE DRIVE® with 3 ground flats eliminate chuck slippage on sizes from 3/16″ and larger
- Round shanks on bits smaller than 3/16″
- Ideal for cordless drills, portable drills and drill presses
